Indiduino

An automation solution for astronomical observatories

Downloads

At this moment Indiduino software driver is preliminary integrated in the indilib project SVN repository  as 3 party drivers. Check  Sourceforge SVN repository

Instructions:

Make sure you have svn client and cmake installed in your system. Also install libcfitsio3-dev and libusb-dev libraries that indilib depends on.

Then:
#mkdir INDI
#cd INDI
#svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/indi/code/trunk indi-code
(this will download all INDI sources and copy in a directory called indi-code)
#mkdir build
#cd build
#mkdir libindi indi-duino
#cd libindi
#cmake ../../indi-code/libindi
#make
#sudo make install
(this will build libindi and install under /usr/local/)
#cd ..
#cd indi-duino
#cmake ../../indi-code/3party/indi-duino
#make
#sudo make install
(this will build indi-duino and install under /usr/local/bin.
The skeletons files will install in /usr/local/share/indi)

Testing. Start indiserver using FIFO.
#mkfifo /tmp/INDIFIFO
#indiserver -f /tmp/INDIFIFO
(see more details in http://indilib.org/index.php?title=INDI_Server)
#echo start indi_duino -n \"Device Switcher\" -s \"/usr/local/share/indi/switcher_sk.xml\" >/tmp/INDIFIFO
alternative you can start indiserver in the tradicional way setting before INDISKEL
#export INDISKEL="/usr/local/share/indi/switcher_sk.xml"
#indiserver indi_duino

More will be soon…
